iQ-Energy includes online RdSAP calculation tool, which enables our assessors to generate EPCs quickly and efficiently. Developed with input from energy assessors them selves, iQ-Energy combines a straight forward user interface with the convenience of an online software solution, so no downloads or awkward updates. What's more, because iQ-Energy is run online using a browser, you can create and access your reports anywhere, anytime, PC or Mac. In addition, Quidos will soon be launching interfaces for handheld devices,making our software even more accessible.

F Gas Register The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) has appointed Quidos as an F Gas Company certification scheme. From 4th Jul 2009, any businesses conducting installation or servicing work on air conditioning, refrigeration or heat pump equipment containing F Gases must have a company certificate to prove their engineers' competency. Any companies operating without a certificate are liable to prosecution. Depending on the qualifications held by the employed engineers, companies can apply for interim or full certification. By July 2011, all companies must hold full certification. For more information on the F Gas regulations, our future training courses and on how to apply for a company certificate please visit fgasregister.com. | AIRs Software The Communities and Local Government (CLG) has given full approval to the Air-Conditioning Inspection Report System (AIRS) software, designed by Quidos for use by air-conditioning assessors. This seal of approval comes ahead of all rival applications. The documents demonstrating this approval can be found here and here. Furthermore, Quidos has now made AIRS available to all air conditioning assessors, no matter which accreditation scheme they belong to. Access to use of the software is completely FREE, with only a small fee payable to Quidos for each complete report produced. Benefits of the AIRS software can be seen here. ABBE AC Course Approved
James Westley, Research and Development manager at ABBE released the following statement: "ABBE is pleased to announce that its Diplomas in Air-Conditioning Energy Assessment at both Levels 3 and 4 have now been approved by Ofqual..... The qualification start date has been back dated to 1st October"
This is great news for ABBE, Quidos and the industry as a whole, with months of development put into the diploma and our training course, we can now push forward - armed with AIRS currently the only Air Conditioning Report lodgement system.
