Licence plans are required for premises licence applications under the Licensing Act 2003. They are accurate, scaled representations of licensed premises, designed to aid fire safety by showing the location of all ,entry/exit points, detectors and extinguishers.
Who Needs a Licence Plan?
Your solicitor will advise on whether your commercial premises requires a plan for licensing purposes. Typically, the following activities require a premises license:
- Sale or supply of alcohol
- Provision of entertainment
- Provision of late night refreshment (hot food or drink between 11pm and 5am)
