All practicing energy assessors must be accredited with agovernment approved accreditation scheme. The Quidos Accreditation Scheme is ahighly respected scheme that operates to ensure that all its members are fully capable of conducting high quality energy assessments. This involves carryingout extensive checks on the credentials of applicants, and following this upwith continual Quality Assurance monitoring throughout membership.
Quidos provides accreditation for:
- Domestic Energy Assessors (DEA)
- Non-Domestic Energy Assessors (NDEA) Level 3,4 & 5
- Public Buildings Energy Assessors (PBEA) for the production of DECs
- Air Conditioning Energy Assessors (ACEA) Level 3 & 4
