Public Buildings Energy Assessor


Display Energy Certificates (DECs):

DEC’s are required for large public buildings occupied by a public authority or an institution providing a public service to a large number of people. DEC’s will show the actual energy usage of a building. The Display Energy Certificates need to be clearly displayed.

 Public Buildings Energy Assessors  are accredited to produce DEC’s Quidos Accredited DEC assessors are qualified to produce Display Energy Certificates and produce Advisory Reports for public buildings.

*Candidates who complete the Quidos ABBE DipNDEA Level 3 Qualification; qualify for a 20% discount on their 1st year’s accreditation if they chose to become accredited with Quidos.
**Existing members of a Quidos Accreditation scheme are entitled to free Level 3 Commercial Accreditation Membership, for the duration of their current year’s membership. Thereafter they shall benefit from a 10% discount on the advertised rates. Training and APEL charges still apply.
