Quidos iQ-Energy Launch Offer
Terms and Conditions
Quidos Accreditation launches iQ-Energy for Domestic Energy Assessors on February 1st 2010
iQ-Energy is an RdSAP software and lodgement tool, for domestic Energy Performance Certificates, and is offered exclusively to members of the Quidos Accreditation Scheme (QAS).
To celebrate this launch, Quidos is offering a range of discounts and incentives to both existing and new members, as follows:
From February 1st 2010,until 23:59 on 28th February 2010
- New members will receive FREE lodgements
- Existing members will receive a reduced lodgement fee of £2.50
- Existing members will receive 5 free lodgements, for each new member successfully referred
There are no hidden charges, or set up fees attached to these offers, but each does come with some straight forward terms and conditions which are explained below.
New member ‘FREE February" offer
- All new members accepted to the Quidos Accreditation Scheme between 1st February 2010 and close of business on 26th February 2010 will be eligible for the free lodgement offer.
- Free lodgements will only be available through the iQ-Energy platform; this offer does not apply to lodgements made through alternative software platforms available via QAS.
- All new QAS members must sign up for a minimum of 12 months.
- The QAS membership fee is £4 payable monthly.
- To receive the free lodgement offer, new members must sign up to a monthly Direct Debit payment plan.
- Membership is conditional upon successful completion of the membership application procedure, details on which can be found here. Please note this includes the supply of a valid CRB, membership form, Direct Debit mandate and other documentation.
- Processing of new applications can take several days, and is conditional on the prompt supply of valid documentation. QAS makes no commitments to the time it may take to process an application, although assures all applicants that the greatest expediency is afforded to the processing of all new applications.
- This offer is not available to any domestic energy assessor who has left the Quidos Accreditation Scheme after close of business on January 28th 2010.
- QAS reserves the absolute right to refuse membership to any applicant, as per the terms and conditions of the scheme.
- New members will be eligible for the free lodgement offer for all domestic EPCs lodged via iQ-Energy before 23:59 28th February 2010.
- All members will still be charged the Landmark fee (plus vat) for all reports lodged throughout this period.
- After the completion of the free lodgement period, members are not obliged to lodge any further reports, but will still be liable for membership fees (see points 3 and 4 above) for the duration of the membership period.
- Following completion of the free lodgement period, lodgement fees for iQ-Energy will default to £3.50 for direct debit customers.
- For non-direct debit customers, the lodgement fee will be £4.50.
Existing member offers
- Only Domestic Energy Assessors accredited with Quidos on or before 29th January 2010 are eligible for the ‘existing member' offers.
- To qualify for either offer, members must consent to and successfully complete the set up of a monthly Direct Debit payment plan, and
- Members must have an up-to-date billing account with no outstanding payments due.
Reduced lodgement fee offer
- Existing members, as defined above (points 15 - 17) will be able to lodge certificates through iQ-Energy for just £2.50 (ex vat) between 00:00 1st February 2010 and 23:59 on 28th February 2010.
- All members will be charged the Landmark fee (plus vat) for all reports lodged throughout this period.
- The reduced fee is only available through the iQ-Energy platform; this offer does not apply to lodgements made through alternative software platforms available via QAS.
- Existing members will be eligible for the reduced lodgement offer for all domestic EPCs successfully lodged via iQ-Energy before 23:59 on 28th February 2010.
- Following completion of the reduced lodgement period, lodgement fees for iQ-Energy will default to £3.50 for direct debit customers.
- For non-direct debit customers, the lodgement fee for iQ-Energy will be £4.50
Member referral offer
- Existing members as defined above (points 15 - 17) can earn 5 free lodgement credits for each successfully referred new member to the QAS.
- A referral is considered successful if it results in the referred assessor being accepted onto the QAS following processing of their submitted application documentation.
- To qualify for this offer, the referred assessor must be accepted onto the QAS before close of business on 26th February 2010.
- To qualify for this offer, new members must read and comply with the terms and conditions of QAS, and also with the terms and conditions concerning new members as listed above in points 1 - 14.
- For the avoidance of doubt, both the existing and referred assessor must sign up to a monthly Direct Debit payment plan, see points 5 and 16 above.
- There is no limit to the number of referrals an assessor can make, and therefore no limit on the number of free credits an assessor can accumulate within the terms of this offer.
- All free lodgement credits earned via this offer must be used before 23:59 31st March 2010.
- Any residual credits earned under this offer but not used by this time are forfeited.
- As per point 9 above, QAS reserves the absolute right to refuse membership to any applicant, as per the terms and conditions of the scheme.
General
- Quidos reserves the right to amend or vary these terms and conditions, and to withdraw any or all of the above mentioned offers in whole or in part at any time.
- All prices quoted above exclude vat at the standard rate unless otherwise stated.
- All lodgement offers outlined above are exclusive of Landmark fees which will be payable by all assessors at all times at the prevailing rate, and are also subject to vat at the standard rate. These fees shall be collected by Quidos in the normal way.
- iQ-Energy is only valid for lodgements in England and Wales.
