This module is the first part of a two-part series looking in depth at the different HVAC systems which will be encountered during a Level 3 non domestic energy assessment. Entering a HVAC system correctly is one of the most important aspects of the non-domestic EPC process, and completion of this module will help in ensuring that this causes no problems for assessors.
This module looks in depth at central heating systems using water distribution as well as split/multi split systems, and provides a large amount of information and detail on both of these system types. This includes information on how these systems can be identified, the benefits of their use and operation, and how efficiency levels should be calculated.
The module also gives an overview of why HVAC is important and how the SBEM calculation engine processes the data entered.
Completion of the module will provide one hour’s worth of CPD towards an assessor’s annual requirement. The module is comprised of a presentation followed up by a short multiple choice quiz, which assessors will need to pass in order to obtain the certificate for the CPD.
Upon completion of the module and successful undertaking of the quiz, a copy of the certificate will be provided to the assessors via the Quidos Training team.
