How to Order a HIP
Quidos HIPs are easy to order, just fill out one simple form, and we’ll do the rest.

- DEAs and HIs ordering HIPs will need to specify clearly which purchaser option they wish to pursue
- No need to upload documents or wait for data, and no need to track your order
Step by step guide to the HIP process:
- Within 24 hours of receiving your order form, we’ll send you a ‘confirmation of order’ certificate. Until June 1st 2008 this is sufficient evidence to start the marketing a property.
- HIP is delivered back upon receipt of searches. Times vary across local authorities, but typically delivery is within 7-10 working days of order.
- We deliver back an electronic HIP as standard. This is sufficient for legal requirements, and saves paper and money. If a client requests a printed copy, you can print yourself at home, or request a professionally printed and bound copy from Quidos for £20 per copy.
- New clients will need to pay upfront (cheque, BACs or e-pay via Paypal invoicing) or may defer payment*. Established business clients can pay by monthly account, ask for details.
