Quidos Floor Planning Training

Quidos offers a floor plan training course which will train you in how to sketch floor plans to the highest industry standards. The course is one day long, and will provide you with all the theoretical knowledge required to draw clear and accurate floor plans.

The morning of the training is an introduction to floor planning, which includes learning new and faster measuring techniques and sketching methods. These methods will allow you to accurately produce floor plan sketches that can be converted into detailed CAD plans.

The afternoon will be at a more advanced level, teaching you how to sketch more complex properties. You will also learn how to sketch lease plans in accordance with the Land Registry Practice Guide, and licence plans, which contain all the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003.

This course is particularly useful to DEAs who need to sketch floor plans as part of the EPC process. It makes sense to produce this plan to a standard at which you can sell this to the agent/ landlord commissioning the EPC for marketing purposes.
